EXPERIENCE

Independent Artist Vendor and Curator

Operate and curate a vendor booth featuring original paintings, drawings, prints, ceramic works, and upcycled vintage objects. Design cohesive branding, spatial display, and visual merchandising strategies that strengthen artistic identity and directly influence sales performance. Serving as an extension of artistic practice, where curation, presentation, and audience interaction become part of the creative process, fostering an ongoing dialogue between maker, object, and community.

Studio Internship, Michael Boles

Gained hands-on experience in material preparation and structural assembly. Engaged in ongoing studio dialogue focused on professional development, artistic confidence, and sustaining a studio practice within a regional art community. Received mentorship on navigating the role of the contemporary artist as both maker and community figure. Assisted in teaching undergraduate Introduction to Ceramics, providing instruction in handbuilding techniques, wheel throwing, and foundational studio processes. Guided students in bisque firing, surface application, and safe kiln practices. Supported conceptual development, critique facilitation, and documentation of completed works, helping students translate ideas into ceramic forms.
